Diagnosis
- All treatments for high-grade dysplasia and intramucosal cancer in Barrett’s oesophagus should be performed by specialist oesophago-gastric cancer teams
Investigation
Management
- Endoscopic therapy i.e. circumferential endoscopic mucosal resection as an alternate to oesophagectomy with high grade (T1a) dysplasia if unsuitable for surgery or do not wish to undergo oesophagectomy
- If residual or recurrent disease offer either endoscopic mucosal resection and / or ablative therapy to completely remove residual flat dysplasia
